POSITION OPENING
Products and Services Specialist

South Central Indiana REMC is seeking a customer-focused person to serve as Products and Services Specialist. This role includes responsibilities related to the promotion, facilitation, delivery, and follow-up on all products and services offered through South Central Indiana REMC and its subsidiary company, SCI Services, LLC, including energy management products and programs, security systems, metered propane, and long distance services.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • processing member rebate requests through accounting including the completion of all required paperwork and processing to facilitate reimbursement from Hoosier Energy;

  • responsible for day-to-day sales of water heaters including the execution of all required paperwork with the member, proper expectation setting with member, and delivering a great member experience;

  • responsible for the day-today sales of generators on the Load Shed program including the execution of all required paperwork with the member, issuance of service orders, proper expectation setting with member, and delivering a great member experience;

  • initiation, processing and follow-up of service orders created in conjunction with Demand Response Units, water heaters, generators, metered propane and other products or services as deemed necessary;
  • assist in the creation, production and promotion of all marketing materials and promotions to support all products, services and programs offered through South Central Indiana REMC and SCI Services, LLC including but not limited to, Appliance Recycling, CFL’s, Demand Response Units, generators, Heating and Cooling Rebates, Metered Propane, and Touchstone Energy Homes;

  • assist in the scheduling of new installations and service for all products offered through SCI Security;

  • process all accounts receivable for SCI Services, LLC including the issuance of billing, customer questions, delinquent notices and collections;

  • produce and manage various weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports as directed by the Manager of Products and Services;

  • produce all required contracts, agreements and paperwork for each customer purchasing services through SCI Security

Candidates must have a demonstrated track record of success in delivering excellent customer experiences, managing diverse tasks and objectives with competing priority levels, and producing work with high levels of thoroughness and accuracy. The position requires excellent oral and written communications skills, ability to embrace and manage change and a positive team attitude.

Qualifications: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; minimum of four years of administrative and customer relations experience in related field; and must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite, typing, grammar, overall computer skills, and basic math.
